Strong Healthy Nails Without a Visit to the Salon

Ideal nails are tough, strong, solid, long or semi-long, without spots and striations, smooth and shiny, well hydrated, and white-pink. But, unfortunately, is very difficult to find all these qualities in our nails, because of life, nervousness, stress, and the lack of daily care as well as poor diet.

Here are some beauty tips to help you take care of them, so you can enjoy having young looking and beautiful nails.

Transparent base for protection

Nail base is a very important protection for nails. It effectively defends off traumatic shocks, as well as providing protection from contact with water and detergent products. When the color is very dark is better to apply two layers to form more efficient isolation.

A Healthy Diet For Healthy Nails

Do not cut cuticles

These are a good barrier against infections, essential for healthy nails. They should not be cut and pushed in, because it can cause some inflammation and small nail surface deformations. Optimal strategy is to soften cuticles, massage them with an oil or a special cream to relieve the nail contours.

Scissors

The use of scissors can cause micro-cracks, invisible to the naked eye, but can damage the nail very quickly, especially because it is very sensitive and fragile.

Nail hydration, not just the hands.

Daily application of hand cream and on the nails and massage well for a few seconds is sufficient to prevent formation of dead skin. In addition, nails are flexible but not soft, they get a shiny and healthy appearance.

In winter take vitamin B

Like skin, nails are subjected to temperature variations and, therefore, may be fragile. Now in winter you can take some B vitamins.

Some tips for applying nail polish

Start with your thumb, then the little finger and then go on to forefinger. Apply the polish in three movements (starting at the bottom with a single movement of the brush from bottom to the top on each side of nail), avoiding overlap of these applications. Apply the first coat of nail polish and let them dry a few minutes before you apply the second coat.

After the nail polish is completely dry, remove the nail or cuticle contour excess with cotton soaked in nail polish remover. To significantly reduce drying time (3 to 5 minutes) and to make the polish stronger and shiny, apply a thin layer of lacquer hardener immediately after applying nail polish.
